The long running legal battle over the estate of the late businessman Ivan Ssemwanga has finally come to an end after the Family Court ruled in favour of his children, granting them primary administrative rights over his property through their legal guardian and mother, Zari Hassan. The decision follows an amicable agreement reached between the parties, bringing years of uncertainty and family disputes to a peaceful conclusion.
The ruling means that Ivan Ssemwanga’s estate will now be managed for the benefit of his children, ensuring that their interests remain protected. The agreement also puts an end to the long standing disagreements between Zari and some of Ssemwanga’s relatives over the administration of his vast estate.
