Gen Salim Saleh Warns Artistes Against Flocking Gulu

Gen Salim Saleh has warned artistes against flocking Gulu this festival seasons especially to his officers.

He requested that the appointed Presidential Advisor on creatives, Eddy Kenzo, along with the president of the Ugandan Musicians Association, Cindy Sanyu, intervene to prevent musicians from traveling to Gulu, during this festive season.

Gen. Saleh mentioned that musicians’ constant visits sabotage his daily activities and operations in Northern Uganda.

The young brother of President Museveni connected more with musicians during Covid19 lockdown. He helped them with money to keep tenor lives moving and their careers because they weren’t making much money.

Ever since then, artistes have never stopped going to Gulu despite how much money is given to them. They keep wanting more and more and Gen Salim Saleh seems not ready to keep up with that even when he is busy.

The festive season is a busy month for everyone but when it comes to collecting money some people can move miles to just do that.
