Bebe Cool has agreed to settle his dispute with former Miss Rwanda Jolly Mutesi privately after receiving guidance from Muhoozi Kainerugaba. The intervention has led to the singer deleting all related posts from his X (formerly Twitter) account, signaling an end to the public exchanges.
In a statement shared on his social media, Bebe Cool revealed that Gen Muhoozi personally called him and advised that the matter be handled amicably off social media.
He emphasized that both parties are considered “family” and that there was no need for a public spat.
“Good morning, all. This morning I received a call from my big brother, @mkainerugaba, regarding the issue with Jolly. As my elder and leader, he advised me to drop it, delete the tweets, and resolve it amicably off social media since we are both family to him and there is no need for a public spat. I appreciate his guidance and agree. Thank you,” Bebe Cool wrote.
The development comes shortly after Jolly Mutesi’s legal team issued a cease and desist notice over the allegations. Bebe Cool had earlier accused her of being involved in an alleged online scam linked to promises of football opportunities for his son Alpha Ssali and music connections in Rwanda.
The matter now appears set to be handled privately away from social media drama.
