Musician Grace Nakimera has weighed in on the ongoing debate surrounding DNA testing, making it clear that she would never accept her partner requesting a DNA test for their children. According to the singer, such tests create mistrust in relationships and have the potential to break up families.

Speaking during an interview, Grace said the day her partner asks for a DNA test would mark the end of their relationship. She insisted that if a man reaches the point of questioning the paternity of their children, the trust needed to sustain the relationship has already been lost.
“The day my man decides to carry out a DNA test on my children is the day I pack and leave with my children. Personally, I cannot allow that because DNA destroys homes. What will you say when you confirm that they are your children?” Grace said.
She went on to add that if her partner ever chose to secretly conduct a DNA test without her knowledge, she would rather never find out about it.
“If you decide to do the test without my knowledge, that is okay. Just make sure I never get to know about it. But the day I get to know, you know,” she added.
Grace Nakimera’s comments come amid renewed public discussions about DNA testing following revelations involving the late singer Paul Kafeero’s family, a story that has reignited conversations on paternity, trust, and whether DNA tests should become routine at birth.
