Rising singer D Star has publicly appreciated Eddy Kenzo for stepping in to resolve a misunderstanding between him and fellow artiste Mudra D Viral over the “Hoozambe Remix” dispute.
While appearing on Sanyuka Uncut, D Star revealed that Kenzo personally intervened after tensions began building between the two artistes following disagreements linked to the remix project, which had sparked debate among fans on social media.
According to D Star, the matter was eventually settled after Kenzo organized a direct meeting between both parties in his capacity as president of the Uganda National Musicians Federation.
“President Kenzo sat us down and talked to us as a true leader,” D Star said during the interview.
The disagreement had reportedly created growing friction between D Star and Mudra D Viral, with online discussions further fueling the situation. However, the intervention helped bring both artistes to the table, where they openly discussed their issues and reached a mutual understanding.
D Star went on to describe Kenzo as a leader who prioritizes unity among Ugandan musicians, noting that his involvement helped prevent the situation from escalating further and restored professional harmony between the two camps.
