Karole Kasita has opened up about the challenges that come with fame, saying it can significantly change a woman’s outlook on relationships, marriage, and family life.

In a candid reflection, Karole explained that being a female artiste often comes with sacrifices that many people don’t see, especially when it comes to building and maintaining romantic relationships.
“I think the hardest part of being a female artiste is that your life stops. Your life pauses. Even courtship is hard. It requires time. A lot,” she said.
According to Karole, the demanding nature of a music career often makes it difficult for women in the industry to maintain normal relationships, despite societal expectations that they should eventually settle down, get married, and start families.
She noted that while such expectations remain, the reality of celebrity life often pushes in the opposite direction, where careers demand constant attention, travel, and public commitments.
Karole also revealed that motherhood is not a simple decision for female artistes, explaining that many have to carefully plan and calculate the timing due to fears that it could interrupt their career progress and momentum.
