Businesswoman and socialite Zari Hassan has admitted that she sometimes worries about the possibility of her husband, Shakib Cham Lutaya, being unfaithful.
According to Zari, those concerns have grown since Shakib ventured into the deejaying industry, where she believes he is likely to interact with many women during his work.
Speaking candidly, Zari said she occasionally finds herself thinking about the different women Shakib could meet while performing at events. Although she did not accuse him of cheating, she acknowledged that the nature of his new career sometimes leaves her feeling uneasy.
The socialite also stirred debate with her controversial views on relationships, advising women not to remain loyal to partners who fail to support or provide for them. She argued that if another person is willing to invest in a woman and ease her financial or emotional burdens, she should not hesitate to pursue that opportunity.
“If you have a chance and there’s someone out there willing to invest in you and take your stress away, please cheat,” Zari said.
She went on to describe a woman cheating on a man who does not provide for her as a form of “self-defence,” insisting there is no reason for women to continue suffering in relationships when better options are available.
