Omulangira Ndausi Not Ready To Retire From Radio Simba After 28 Years on Air

By BigEyeUg Team

Veteran radio personality Omulangira Ndausi has revealed that he has no plans of retiring from Radio Simba despite spending nearly three decades at the station.

Ndausi, who has been a familiar voice on the airwaves for 28 years, says he does not believe his lengthy stay at the station is too long and remains passionate about radio broadcasting.

Speaking about his future plans, the celebrated presenter disclosed that he is now venturing into the growing world of YouTube podcasts while continuing with his radio duties.

The good thing is that my show is a morning show and it ends at 10am, so I can give the podcasts all the time from 10 to any time,” Ndausi explained.

As he prepares to establish his own podcast platform, Ndausi says he is first focusing on appearing on popular YouTube channels to build his presence in the digital space and familiarize audiences with his on-camera personality.

Most people know us by the voices, but these podcasts are going to put me out there and push them to listen to us again on radios because even radio is visual now,” he said.

Despite exploring new opportunities online, Ndausi made it clear that his move into podcasting does not signal an exit from Radio Simba. Instead, he sees it as a complementary venture that will strengthen his brand while helping attract more listeners back to radio.
