In a post shared on her Snapchat, Bad Black revealed that she had spent more than a decade lightening her skin but had now decided to stop and focus on self-love.

“I have been bleaching my skin for the past 13 years, but it’s finally time for my children to embrace and see the real woman who gave them life—the woman who has sacrificed everything for them,” she wrote.

The socialite said she was done hiding and was ready to accept herself, describing the decision as a new chapter in her life.

Forget bleaching. I’m done. This is the real me, and I’m choosing to love every part of myself,” she added.

Bad Black also said she plans to rebrand her image, revealing that she is considering deleting her old Instagram photos and TikTok videos to introduce a new version of herself that embraces her natural melanin.

I will delete all my Instagram pictures because reborn Bad Black is melanin dark chocolate sexy mama,” she said, adding that she wants to start afresh this August.

Her announcement comes as she continues recovering from her recent 360 liposuction and Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure. The cosmetic surgery requires her to avoid sitting for up to six months as part of the recovery process.

Bad Black said she believes her new look, combined with self-acceptance, will allow her to confidently embrace the person she has always wanted to become.
