Nina Roz has opened up about her decision to leave the musicians’ federation, shedding light on internal conflicts and what she describes as a loss of purpose within the body.

According to Nina Roz, her role as chief whip quickly became frustrating, especially due to the conduct of the very person who appointed her.
In a candid revelation, she described that individual as “the first bad-mannered person who needed to be dealt with,” hinting at leadership challenges that made her position difficult to navigate.
She explained that when she initially joined the federation, she believed it stood for unity among artists and a collective push to protect their rights. However, her experience painted a very different picture.
“There was a lot of division among artists in the federation, and that is not what I was personally fighting for,” she shared.
Nina Roz emphasized that her passion has always been rooted in meaningful change for creatives, including issues like copyright.
However, she noted that genuine progress in such areas isn’t confined to a single platform, suggesting that impactful results would still reach her regardless of her affiliation.
She went on to say that the federation had lost its direction, with many things no longer making sense to her. Faced with what she saw as a drift away from her core values and standards, stepping away became inevitable.
Interestingly, she also reflected on the initial excitement many artists had when the federation was formed, describing it as a moment where many were simply “naive” about what it would eventually become.
