Spice Diana has revealed that she could consider joining politics in the future, saying the idea is not entirely out of the question.

The revelation came on Sunday, March 15, while the singer hosted a Ramadan charity activation at her home in Salaama, Makindye, where she distributed food items to her Muslim neighbors and friends.
During the event, one resident asked the singer whether she had plans of joining politics someday. In response, Spice Diana gave a calm but intriguing answer that left many wondering about her future plans.
“When the time is right, I will come to you,” she said.
While speaking to the crowd, the singer acknowledged the challenges currently associated with politics in Uganda, noting that it often involves confrontation and tension.
“You see what’s happening in politics, there’s a lot of tear gas,” she said. “But what I know is that when the time reaches and I’m ready, mine will be different.”
Spice Diana explained that her connection with ordinary people gives her a better understanding of their needs. Because of this, she believes that if she ever chooses to enter politics, her approach would be different from what people are used to seeing.
“I know the people around here and what they need,” she said, adding that time will ultimately determine what direction her life takes.
“You never know what will happen, so let’s just wait and be alive,” she added.
Beyond politics, the singer also shared a personal spiritual goal, revealing that she plans to travel to Mecca for pilgrimage. She, however, said she hopes to make the journey with others rather than going alone.
According to the singer, she intends to take about five people with her when the time comes to fulfill the pilgrimage.
The charity event attracted several residents from the Salaama area, many of whom praised the artist for giving back to the community and maintaining close ties with the people she grew up around.
