Businessman and socialite Shakib Lutaaya has confirmed that his wife, Zari Hassan, indeed went through a miscarriage earlier this year.
Zari recently revealed on her Snapchat that she had lost a pregnancy at six weeks in May, a disclosure that sparked emotional reactions from her fans.
When asked about it, Shakib admitted that the experience was real but emphasized that it was Zari who chose to open up publicly.
“It wasn’t me that said it, it was her so I think she’s the right person to explain it more. Of course I was aware of it but there are some things I want to keep to myself,” Shakib explained.
The couple has had their share of public misunderstandings in the past, but Shakib noted that they are still strong and remain committed to each other despite the challenges.
Zari, often referred to as the Bosslady, is a mother of five. She had three children with her late husband, Ivan Ssemwanga, and two with Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz.
