Uganda’s fast-rising rapper Mclevi is keeping the momentum alive with the release of the official music video for “Some Are,” the latest visual from his debut project, MCLEANER MIXTAPE.
The project, which dropped just days ago, showcases Mclevi’s versatility through a collection of tracks including Go, Some Are, Not Friends, Lugs, Pay Me, Intimate, Reactions, Live featuring Fakher, Pour Four Freestyle, Came from the Mud, Showing Love, Teed Up, and Where You Been (Blessing). The mixtape also features collaborations with Peter Lugs and Fakher.
The “Some Are” video was directed by BlendIN and Mclevi at FTM Studio, while the audio was produced, mixed, and mastered by THEINKREDIBO at FTM Records. Mclevi also wrote the song himself.
According to the rapper, every song on the mixtape tells a unique story, and each music video is designed with its own concept to give fans a fresh experience throughout the project.
Having spent just one year in the music industry, Mclevi says he is determined to leave a lasting mark on Uganda’s hip-hop scene by delivering a sound that can compete with international rap music.
Beyond music, he is also building FTM into more than just a record label. The brand is growing into a creative hub that includes music production, events, merchandise, and other entertainment ventures.

Fans should also expect more visuals from the MCLEANER MIXTAPE, with an official listening party set to be announced soon.
