Maulana and Reign recently turned heads during their performance at the Galaxy FM Zzina Festival, with Reign making a bold—and cheeky—promise that quickly caught fans’ attention.
While addressing the crowd, Reign declared that if Arsenal FC manages to win any trophy this season, he would personally switch lanes politically and start supporting the National Resistance Movement led by Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
“I would like to boldly say this in front of my fans that if Arsenal wins any trophies this season, however small it is—I will join and support NRM,” he said.
Reign, a known supporter of Manchester United, was clearly leaning into football rivalry banter.
His statement plays into the ongoing narrative around Arsenal’s near-misses, especially after falling just short of the Premier League title in the past two consecutive seasons.
For many fans, it came off less as a serious political stance and more as playful trolling—another jab in the never-ending back-and-forth between rival supporters.
