Express seek to bounce back after poor run

UPL

Match day 21 in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League continues on Wednesday with three fixtures on card.

First, Express host Wakiso Giants at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku aiming for maximum points in what is literally Baker Mbowa’s first home game in charge.

The two sides come into the game on the back od defeats with Express losing to Villa and Wakiso Giants beaten at Vipers.

Eighth placed Red Eagles are on 29 points, nine better than the 12th placed Sharks who are fighting for life to stay in the division.

At Kakyeeka, Mbarara City host Gaddafi in a relegation six pointer.

The game pits former Gaddafi coach Wasswa Bbosa against his former pay masters as he targets victory to move further away from the relegation monster.

The Ankole Lions are on 24 points in 10th position while the Jinja based army side lie 13th with 18 points.

In the late kick off, NEC host Maroons at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo.

Maroons are yet to pick victory in the second round and are on 31 points in 6th place with a win likely to take them to 4th position while NEC are three points ahead in 4th position.
