Promoter Abitex has been sent back to Luzira until 10th January 2022 on charges of Negligence over his end of year fete he hosted st Freedom City that took lives of revellers and others terribly ill .
This incident happened when fans were rushing to go and watch the fire works at parking of Freedom City as a way of ushering them in new year of 2023.
But due to the overcrowding that was at the event, some people saphocated and they were stepped on by other people.
At that time, there was no medication at the event so ten people ended up losing their lives living others injured.
As the owner of the event, Abitex was arrested by police and held accountable for everything that happened.
According to people close to him, they say Abitex had nothing to do with what happened it was just an accident like other accidents.
