A fireworks parade meant to welcome the new year went wrong in Kasese after it almost turned fatal..
According to a video on social media, the fireworks didn’t go according to plan.
People can be seen running around seeking a place to hide as the place became chaotic.
The fireworks went wrong and started getting dispersed in different areas.
It’s said that the person who set them off was a an amateur and didn’t know exactly what he had to do.
This comes at a time after 9 people died in a stampede at Freedom city after the fireworks there too went wrong.
Events promoter Abitex who was in charge of the even has already been arrested by Police to help in investigations.
