Kalifah AgaNaga has pushed back against claims that his recent concert was a flop, maintaining that the event was both well attended and financially rewarding.

The singer says criticism on social media was based on misleading photos taken before the show had fully kicked off, insisting the venue attracted a sizeable crowd as the night progressed.
According to AgaNaga, the concert generated more than Shs100 million through a combination of VIP table bookings and ordinary ticket sales. He explained that tables were sold at Shs1 million, Shs3 million and Shs5 million, and that the number of tables booked alone brought in tens of millions of shillings. He added that thousands of fans also purchased tickets priced at Shs10,000, Shs20,000 and Shs30,000, further boosting the event’s earnings.
The singer believes the negative narrative surrounding the concert was driven by people who were unhappy with the renewed popularity of his hit song, Nassanga. He claimed some individuals deliberately spread old photos to create the impression that the show had failed, despite what he describes as a successful turnout and strong financial returns.
AgaNaga also took aim at concert promoters, saying some have reacted with envy because he organized the event on his own. He argued that artists should take advantage of moments when they have trending songs by staging their own concerts instead of relying entirely on promoters, saying it allows musicians to maximize their earnings and demonstrate the value of their brands.
