Media personality and entrepreneur Sheila Gashumba, popularly known as Lil Stunner, has been unveiled as one of the performers at the Bayimba Festival of the Arts 2026. She will lead a session on Music Policy, where she is expected to engage creatives and industry stakeholders in discussions about the regulations, opportunities, and challenges shaping Uganda’s music industry.
The session is part of the CREATE initiative, a program focused on enhancing skills and promoting financial inclusion for young women in the creative economy. Bayimba says the conversation will provide valuable insights for emerging artists, managers, and other creative professionals seeking to better understand the business and policy landscape of the music industry.
The Bayimba Festival of the Arts will take place from August 28 to 30, 2026, at Lunkulu Island, Buikwe, Mukono. The three-day festival will feature performances from top artistes
