Veteran musician Abdul Mulaasi has made startling claims about singer Kemi Sera, alleging that she was bewitched through alcohol, something he says negatively affected her career and performances.
Speaking during a recent interview, Mulaasi said Kemi Sera is one of several artists he believes fell victim to witchcraft through excessive alcohol consumption.
“There are several artists here who were bewitched through alcohol, and one of them is Kemi Sera. She is beautiful, talented, and everything about her is good,” Mulaasi said.
The singer explained that he attempted to help Kemi Sera after she returned from South Africa and joined his band. However, he claims that strange incidents began occurring shortly after she became part of the team.
“I tried my level best to help Kemi Sera after she returned from South Africa when she joined my band. While we were working together, we got lost more than four times when we were scheduled to perform,” he revealed.
According to Mulaasi, the band repeatedly encountered unusual challenges whenever they travelled for performances. He said they often arrived late at venues, while in some cases they found chaos already unfolding at the events.
“We would arrive late at show venues, sometimes find people fighting, and other times find property had been vandalized,” he added.
Mulaasi further claimed that Kemi Sera herself became concerned about the recurring misfortunes and questioned whether she could somehow be connected to the problems.
“She told me that maybe she was the one with something wrong, and my band members also told me that we had been working smoothly before she joined us,” he said.
The veteran musician did not provide any evidence to support his allegations, and Kemi Sera has not publicly responded to the claims.
