Black Shuga Accuses Amos Lovinz of Using Their Relationship to Boost His Music Career

Black Shuga has publicly accused her ex-partner Amos Lovinz of using their relationship as a strategy to boost his music career.

In a candid revelation, Black Shuga claimed that Amos, together with his family—who reportedly doubled as his management team—crafted a narrative portraying her as someone who had been paid to promote him. According to her, this narrative was pushed behind her back without her knowledge.

She explained that their relationship had reached a level where they shared phone passwords, which gave her access to his private conversations.

It was during this time that she stumbled upon discussions in his family WhatsApp group that left her hurt and disappointed.

“Do you know why people keep saying that I was contracted and paid to promote him? It is the narrative his family painted, yet they didn’t tell me. How I wish they had paid me for it,” she said.

Black Shuga further alleged that members of Amos Lovinz’s family were openly disrespectful towards her in the group chats, something she says she initially chose to ignore. However, what hurt her most, she revealed, was that Amos himself appeared to support and agree with the negative remarks being made about her.

I went through their family WhatsApp chats, and they were abusing me. I didn’t even care about all that, but the man was in support of it. He was backing them up,” she added.

She went on to question the authenticity of their relationship, suggesting that Amos was never genuinely in love with her. Instead, she believes the relationship was purely transactional and designed to benefit his music ambitions.

He was never in love; it was the business. He knew my weakness was that I loved being in love and being loved. I love loudly,” she shared.

Despite anticipating backlash for speaking out, Black Shuga maintained that she felt compelled to tell her side of the story, even if some people might view it as embarrassing her former partner.
