Ugandan music producer and singer Daddy Andre officially took a major step in his love life after holding his traditional introduction ceremony, locally known as kwanjula, with his fiancée Sylvia Suubi Nandera over the weekend.
The colorful ceremony took place on February 8 in Busia and attracted several notable figures from the entertainment industry.
Among those in attendance were fellow musicians Ykee Benda, Elijah Kitaka, Spice Diana, and John Blaq, who also thrilled guests with live performances, turning the event into a star-studded celebration.
This marks Daddy Andre’s second public traditional ceremony. In 2020, the singer previously conducted a kukyala ceremony with fellow musician Nina Roz. However, their relationship later came to an end, with the celebrity couple eventually parting ways.
Andre’s current partner, Sylvia Suubi Nandera, is known to keep a low profile and largely stays away from the public eye.
Despite maintaining a private lifestyle, she is notably the sister of Fiona Nakku, the National Female Workers’ Member of Parliament-elect, following the 2026 general elections.
