Beloved television host Florence Nampijja has reportedly resigned from her role at BBS Terefayina, marking the end of nearly a decade at the station.
The news of her departure was first shared by entertainment journalist Kasuku, who posted a screenshot allegedly from the station’s internal WhatsApp group, where Florence announced her decision to leave.
In the message, Nampijja expressed gratitude to her colleagues and reflected on her long journey with the Buganda Kingdom-owned TV station.
“Hi team,
I’m writing to let you know that my time at BBS has come to an end.
Spending nearly 10 fantastic years here has been an invaluable experience, and I deeply appreciate the time I’ve spent working with each of you. Thank you for making my time here so memorable.

Her exit comes as a surprise to many viewers who have followed her career and admired her consistent presence on screen since BBS TV’s early years.
