Museveni Questions Bebe Cool Over Recording Studio Project, Praises Eddy Kenzo’s Industry Leadership

By BigEyeUg Team

President Yoweri Museveni has expressed disappointment with singer Bebe Cool, revealing that he has not received an update on the progress of a recording center the artist once promised to establish.

Speaking during the launch of his Yoweri Album, Museveni said he had initially worked closely with Bebe Cool to support musicians through the project, but the idea has since stalled without explanation.

“I was trying to work with Bebe Cool at first. He was trying to set up a recording center somewhere. I don’t know what happened,” the President said, questioning why the studio has not been made available, especially at a time when many Ugandan artists need access to professional facilities to grow their careers.

In sam address, Museveni applauded Eddy Kenzo for his role in organizing and uniting the music industry, commending the progress made under his leadership.

“I want to congratulate Kenzo, Nyamutoro, and all the musicians for finally getting organized,” Museveni added, signaling his clear appreciation for Kenzo’s industry efforts compared to Bebe Cool’s unfulfilled initiative.
