Events promoter Nobert Events has come out to share his shocking experience after being mysteriously arrested and accused of being behind the beating of presidential adviser Jennifer Nakangubi, commonly known as Full Figure.
According to Nobert, he was arrested without prior notice and taken straight to police.
Upon arrival, he was informed that he was being accused of playing a role in Full Figure’s assault that happened last month.
He expressed his surprise, saying the allegations left him completely shocked.
Nobert further revealed that police demanded he record a statement, something he declined to do until his lawyer arrived later in the night at around 10 p.m.
He explained that it was only after his lawyer’s arrival that he agreed to proceed with the legal process.
The promoter added that after the interrogation, he was remanded to Luzira Government Prison where he spent nearly a week before being released.
Nobert has since maintained his innocence in the matter, stressing that he had no involvement in the incident against Full Figure.
