Comedian Sammy Mighty Family has revealed that he regrets joining politics after a long period of suffering with sickness.
He said that his wife and friends warned him about everything but he insisted just because he likes his country so much.
Sammy joined the opposition political party NUP led by Bobi Wine and immediately started preaching about it online and even going on the frontline to fight during protests.
Unfortunately for him he ended up in prison and ever since then, he was abandoned by the party members leaving him to struggle with his sickness and finances.
Last month he cried out for financial help to go to the hospital to get treatment and his fans and supporters have been trying to help him to do better.
According to Sammy, he thinks that he has now learnt his lesson and he will start listening to people all the time when it comes to politics.
“I regret joining politics. My wife warned me, but I didn’t listen. Now, I am in pain. I have learnt my lesson and next time I will do much better,”- Sammy Mighty Family .
It should be noted that most celebrities who have joined politics haven’t succeeded. They are always struggling with lack of political identity.
