Musician Ibrahim Mayanja, commonly known as Big Eye Starboss, has expressed strong confidence in securing the National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket for the Nansana Municipality Member of Parliament seat.
Speaking to the media, Big Eye said, “I have 90% chances of winning the NUP primaries and NUP ticket.”
If he succeeds in the primaries, Big Eye will officially become the party’s candidate for the 2026 general elections in Nansana Municipality.
His growing involvement in politics has attracted attention, especially among the youth and supporters of the NUP.
Big Eye, who is known for his music career, has been a vocal supporter of NUP and its leader, Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine.
His political ambition marks a new chapter in his public life, moving from the entertainment industry to active politics.
