Singer Ray G has disclosed he intends to make 50M shillings from his new EP Checkmate.
The singer told us he was intentional in only producing 100 copies of the EP and will sell each at 500,000ugx.
“We strictly made 100 copies, and each will be going for UGX 500,000. I want all good-willed Ugandans to support me on this,” he said.
Ray G also came clear that Checkmate was intended to go global and he was intentional when making it to go beyond Ugandan borders.
“I envisioned my EP for East Africa. I wanted a sound that can cross borders”
“I have worked on this EP since 2017. I had wanted yo make it an album but later decided to make it an EP” Ray G said.
