Ugandan singer Winnie Nwagi has finally spoken out about the drama that surrounded her relationship with fellow artist Chosen Blood.
In her statement, Nwagi explained that there was nothing serious between them and the situation was simply a misunderstanding.
According to Nwagi, the problem started when Chosen Blood’s ex-girlfriend suspected that he was in a relationship with her.
The ex-girlfriend reportedly went through Chosen’s phone and read his WhatsApp messages with Nwagi.
This action led to chaos and eventually caused a breakup between Chosen Blood and his ex.
Nwagi said the situation forced her to step back from the close friendship she had with Chosen Blood.
She explained that although they had built a strong bond through music and mutual respect, she did not want to be part of any misunderstandings or relationship issues.
Nwagi and Chosen Blood once worked together on the popular hit song Yitayo, which sparked rumors of a romantic connection.
However, both artists have repeatedly insisted they were just good friends and collaborators.
In her final remarks, Nwagi made it clear that there was never any romantic relationship between her and Chosen Blood.
She also expressed disappointment that a simple friendship could be misunderstood in such a way.
