Renowned media personality Cedric Babu has been pronounced dead after battling a heart failure .
The former tennis star, who is also the son of Captain Francis Babu and former East African Legislative Assembly Speaker Olivia Kigongo and step son to Margaret Nantongo Zziwa, was announced dead by medics.
This happened amid an ongoing campaign to raise Shs1.5 billion for a heart transplant.
Babu collapsed in Kigali city-Rwanda where he had gone to watch his son play in a tournament and was air lifted to Agha Khan hospital where he has been under intensive care unit.
