Renowned Ugandan film director and Savy Films CEO, Ian Akankwasa better known as Sasha Vybz has returned home after directing the high-profile music video for “Pom Pom”, a cross-border production shot in Rwanda and Tanzania.
“Pom Pom” brings together two of East Africa’s biggest stars: Bruce Mélodie and Diamond Platnumz.
The ambitious four-day shoot featured over 40 dancers, 10 vixens, a custom-designed metal cage with pyrotechnics, and a fleet of six luxury vehicles raising the bar for African music video production.

A graduate of a South African college where he studied alongside award-winning Nigerian director Clarence Peters, Sasha remains a trailblazer in the visual arts scene across the continent.
