There is a life that was lost yesterday at one of the major night clubs in Uganda known as Mezo Noir.
Police at Kira Road are investigating a suspected poisoning case at Mezo Noir nightclub after a woman, identified as Martha Ahumuza Murari, collapsed in the manager’s office. She was admitted in ICU at Kampala Hospital but later pronounced d3ad.
Two men, Edward Mugabo (a cashier at the club) and his brother Joseph Kalenzi, have been detained as investigations continue.
Martha’s vigil will be held today at Kembabazi, and she will be laid to rest on Sunday, March 23, in Mbarara.
So many people have complained about the drugs and illegal activities that take place in the night life in the country.
Fortunately a person has never lost a life but this time around things have changed and there is so much one can even talk about.
