Kalifah Aganaga On Why He Lost Kawempe North by elections

Singer Kalifah Aganaga and now a politician has revealed reasons why he lost the Kawempe North by elections that took place a week ago.

In an interview on Bukedde TV, former kawempe north cadidate Aganaga expressed his frustrations with leaders, including those in the opposition, accusing them of contributing to the country’s political stagnation.

He singled out Mukono Municipality MP Betty Nambooze alias Maddam Teacher, labelling her as part of the problem that Uganda youths continue to face.

Nambooze who reportedly attacked Kalifah AgaNaga  at different rallies in kawempe calling his a time waster and someone whoncan add nothing in Parliament if elected.

“Nambooze was the reason i lost the elections because at every public rally she was attacking me, she couldn’t stop mentioning my name,Such people keep telling us they are fighting against the dictator, but she has been in parliament for over 20 years. They say President Museveni’s government is bad but they never tell us when they will get him out of statehouse. Even when she fell sick, the government catered for her medical expenses abroad. Now, she wants to continue confusing us, the young people”

The NUP flag bearer Elias Nalukoola is the one that won the elections and he was also accused of vote rigging though there is no evidence at the moment.
