Alpha Ssali, son of renowned Ugandan musician Bebe Cool, made headlines on Thursday as he featured for the Uganda Cranes Select team in a Regional tour match against the Northern Region Select side.
The game, held at Booma Playground in Apac District, saw the Cranes Select team secure an emphatic 4-0 victory.
Ssali, who plays for Uganda Premier League giants Express FC, came on as a substitute and, while he didn’t find the back of the net, his presence on the pitch electrified the crowd.
After the match, he was swarmed by jubilant fans eager to take selfies with the young talent.
