State Minister for Karamoja Affairs, Agnes Nandutu remanded to Luzira Prisons until 3rd May, 2023.
This came after Nandutu reported hereslf to police that was hunting for her.
She was accused of stealing Iron sheets alongside other members of Parliament.
These iron sheets were meant for the Struggling people of Karamoja so that they can have a roof over their head.
But none of these iron sheets reached Karamoja. They were distributed among the the members of Parliament.
Nandutu is the third member of Parliament to go to prison over these iron sheets that have been a talk around Uganda.
