So sad! Former Bishop of Hoima County Albert Edward Baharagate has died in Nsambya hospital.
He was born on 25 February 1930. He was appointed as Bishop on 7 July 1969 and left on 9 March 1991.
He passed his last breath yesterday 05 April 2023. Our deepest condolences to the Catholic Church and the Christians of Hoima. Rest in peace Emeritus Bishop Baharagate.
He has been sick for some time battling a strange disease. He was airlifted days ago before his death.
Details about his burial haven’t been revealed but we shall keep you updated about everything that happens.
