The 2023/2024 Miss Uganda beauty pageant under the theme ‘beauty beyond looks’ continues to get much bigger and better with the finalist set to be unveiled on Saturday 18th February at Serena Hotel in Kampala.
The 2023/2024 Miss Uganda beauty pageant takes a closer step to the crown as 15 participants await to be unveiled as they will be joined by the five regional Queens in the battle for the final crown on 17th March.
A reality TV show airing on Startimes Makula TV channel dubbed as the journey to the crown has covered every part of the country as they journey started in the newly added region of West Nile, Northern, Western, Central, Eastern and Kampala.
Jackie Celine Asibazuyo was crowned Miss Uganda West Nile region after seeing off competition from Akello Rachel Sarah and Driciru Phionah who emerged as first and second runners up.
Diana Desire Amviko was crowned Miss Uganda Northern region at Bomah Hotel in Gulu and Vivian Bonabana came out as Miss Uganda Western region.
Central region was dominated by Jessica Sserwada as Miss Uganda Central region with Docus Kasasa Nakato and Leticia Nakiyingi finishing as the first and second runners up.
Rianne Leila Bateeze will represent Easter region as Miss Uganda Eastern after seeing off close competition from Lydia Iculet and Whitney Martha Ademan who finished as 1st and 2nd runners up.
The Kampala auditions had the highest number of contestants with over 100 taking part in the search for the next Miss Uganda but only 25 managed to progress to the next round in the two days Fashion Parade held at Isbat University in Kampala from the 8th to the 9th February.
The 20 finalists who are to be unveiled will enter a one week boot camp which will help them strength on their reasoning capacity and more of how disciplined they can be as they get prepared to take on the final huge crown.
