Comedy Store boss Alex Muhangi has revealed why he stopped doing active comedy.
Muhangi was one of the best stand up comedians having debuted under the Crackers Comedy Group.
However, he a few years ago assumed the role of organizing than performing hence becoming the CEO of Comedy Store.
According to Muhangi, he sat down with fellow comedians and agreed upon this.
This is because in the past, they had no common person or association to organize for them.
They had to perform as well as organize for themselves.
And this was proving a bit too hard for them to multi task hence him taking a more laid back role to his current role.
And luckily for them, the platform has really grown and it’s arguably the biggest comedy show in the country happening every Wednesday.
This is the 7th year since the platform debuted.
