Juliana Kanyomozi has opened up about what inspired her to venture into podcasting, revealing that the platform gave her a chance to reconnect with a part of her career she deeply missed.
Speaking about the project, Juliana said the idea came from her time as a radio presenter at Capital FM, where she spent several years before leaving to concentrate fully on her music career.
She explained that she missed interacting with audiences on air and wanted to find a modern way to maintain that connection with her fans.
“I missed my radio days and I still do, so I thought what can I do in this new era that can allow me to speak to my fans without necessarily breaking my timetable as a musician. I had seen celebrities who did podcasts. So far I have done two seasons,” she said.
Although the podcast is currently on a break, Juliana assured fans that it will return once she reorganizes her schedule.
She admitted that balancing music and podcast production became overwhelming, prompting her team to pause and restructure the show. Rather than producing weekly episodes, she prefers recording an entire season at once, adding that they are now planning a new season with refreshed content for listeners.
