I Wanted Fans to Miss Me — Alien Skin Explains Music Break Ahead of Eid Concert

By BigEyeUg Team

Ugandan music star Alien Skin has shed light on his recent absence from the entertainment scene, saying the break was a deliberate move intended to increase demand for his music and strengthen his connection with fans.

The singer revealed that he temporarily stepped away from the spotlight to create what he described as “scarcity” around his work before making a return through a special Eid concert.

I took a temporary break from music to create scarcity around my work. Now I’m back and this time I’m giving my fans a special gift, a concert on Eid,” Alien Skin said.

His remarks come as excitement builds among supporters who have been anticipating his next major public appearance.

The artist remains one of Uganda’s most followed performers, with strong grassroots following that has continued to support him throughout his career.

Alien Skin also brushed aside concerns about whether fellow musicians would join him at the upcoming concert, insisting that the event does not rely on guest artists to succeed.

Even if artists don’t appear, the show helps them and even if they don’t come, I have many songs which take more than a day for me to perform,” he said.

The statement reflects the confidence that has become a hallmark of the singer’s public persona.

Since breaking onto the music scene, Alien Skin has built a reputation for attracting large crowds and generating conversation both within and beyond the entertainment industry.

With the Eid concert expected to mark his official return to the stage, fans are eagerly awaiting what could become one of the most talked-about music events of the season.

For Alien Skin, the concert is not only a performance but also a chance to prove that his popularity remains intact after months away from the limelight.
