Media personality and emcee Sheilah Gashumba has publicly showered praise on singer A Pass, describing him as the most professional, disciplined, and talented artist in Uganda’s music industry.

Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) account, Sheilah revealed that she recently booked A Pass to perform at Guvnor’s “Saturday Night Fever” event, and was left impressed by his level of professionalism from start to finish.

According to her post, A Pass not only confirmed and promoted the event without reminders, but also went the extra mile by arriving an hour early for his performance. She further noted that the artist came with his own music technician and performed with live instrumental support, a move she said is rarely seen in the local industry.

There’s no male Ugandan artist as professional, disciplined about his music career and talented like @IamApass! I booked him last week for Guvnor’s Saturday Night Fever. He posted and promoted the gig, did a drop for the night without any reminder. Arrived one hour before his performance, came with his music technician and performed with live instrumental sounds so we can hear his voice,” Sheilah wrote, adding that the audience was thoroughly impressed by his performance.

She concluded by urging event organizers to book him, saying, “Apass deserves his flowers. BOOK HIM!”

In response, A Pass acknowledged the praise with humility, thanking Sheilah for the recognition. He emphasized that respect and discipline are core values in his career.

Am humbled @sheilahgashumba but for me, respecting people is standard procedure. You can have all the talent in the world but when you lack manners and discipline, you can’t go very far,” he responded.

He further added that his approach is rooted in gratitude for those who support his career, including event organizers and fans.

I respect people who book me, I respect their hustle and I respect my fans because without them I honestly don’t know where I would be,” he said.
