ACTS FUND Uganda on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, successfully held a Mental Health Camp at Comprehensive Senior Secondary School aimed at supporting the mental wellbeing of children, especially students on holiday break.

The camp brought together students, teachers, and mental health experts for a day of learning and guidance focused on emotional wellness and personal growth.
Health experts from ACTS Fund Uganda trained attendees on psychological guidance and emotional wellness support for students and families.

The sessions also covered resilience building, coping skills, and motivational talks designed to inspire and empower young people.
Speaking after the event, Mrs. Diana Kibuuka, the Executive Director of ACTS Fund Uganda, praised the school community and the organization’s team for making the camp successful.

“Thank you to the school leadership, staff, students, and our AMAZING ACTSFUND Uganda team for making this event impactful and meaningful,” Mrs. Kibuuka said.
She added that the organization remains committed to promoting open discussions about mental health among young people.

“Together, we are breaking stigma, creating safe conversations, and reminding young people that their mental health matters. This is how change begins. One conversation at a time,” she added.
