Former comedian MC Kapale has opened up about his disappointing experience abroad, admitting that moving to America did not turn out the way he had hoped.

Kapale revealed that he left Uganda in search of better opportunities, largely driven by the fact that he had limited formal education. However, upon arriving in the United States, he quickly realized that life there was far more challenging than he had anticipated.
One of the biggest hurdles he faced was the language barrier. According to Kapale, the English he knew back home was not enough to comfortably navigate life in America, where he found the accent and usage quite different and difficult to understand.
“I left Uganda with my small English and I knew bits, not knowing I would ever go abroad. But when I reached America, I suffered,” he shared.
“Worse still, I ended up living with an elderly white woman, which made the situation even harder for me.”
Beyond the language struggles, Kapale also spoke about his belief in spiritual preparation before traveling abroad. He claimed that before leaving Uganda, he felt his spirit was “unclean,” something he believes negatively affects many people who move overseas without addressing it.
According to him, he sought help from a spiritual practitioner who assisted him in cleansing, a process he credits for eventually enabling him to secure his visa.
Kapale cautioned that many people overlook such personal or spiritual readiness, which he believes can contribute to the hardships they face once they relocate.
