MP for Kampala, Muhammad Nsereko has criticized the events in Kadugala during the burial of fallen mp Ssegirinya as inhumane and uncivilized.
Nsereko warned that NUP officials and members should stay in their lane because such behaviors cannot take power.
“How could you humiliate the body of Honorable Ssegirinya to that extent? No way, it can’t happen on mine.”
Nsereko also dismissed accusations made at the funeral suggesting that NRM government or Parliament contributed to Ssegirinya’s death saying that that’s not true because Ssegirinya had underlying health issues.
When he was sworn in, he came from a Nairobi hospital bedridden, and his arrest and denial of specialized treatment could have been contributing factors.
But those who are blaming others for his death have abandoned many orphans, only to use politicking for their own gain.
Nsereko publicly terminated his ties with NUP and that there is no room for reconciliation because he even deleted Bobiwine’s number.
