Light The World Lead Pastor Wilson Bugembe has revealed that he doesn’t always perform for money, often doing free performances spontaneously.
Bugembe believes his performances aren’t solely for entertainment but also a way to spread the word of God.
As a church pastor his job is not to only sing and her money but to also spread the gospel as it is part of his life and made him who he is right now.
Pastor Bugembe talked about one incident where he was at a certain hotel and it happened to be a wedding ceremony.
According to him, no one knew him at the event and no one had actually booked him to perform. He only showed up and went ahead to perform.
He said that some people think it is the way of making money but for him it us an opportunity to spread the word of God.
“I always perform for free at weddings. I remember once coming across a wedding at Hotel Africana and joining in, performing even though I didn’t know anyone there. I see it as an opportunity to spread the gospel,” he said in part during an interview with a local television station.
