Alongside Azawi earlier this month, Nina Roz and Ziza Bafana fiercely criticized Eddy Kenzo and his federation for accepting government funding rather than concentrating on copyright legislation.
Nina Roz even called Eddy Kenzo a monster for giving handouts more importance than music.
On the other hand, the UNMF President disclosed that some performers, such as Nina Roz and Ziza Bafana, who are critical of his federation, are profiting from it.
As evidenced by their signatures, Kenzo clarified that Nina Roz and Bafana were among the first to receive the money when it arrived in the federation’s accounts.
“Some people just talk, but they are direct beneficiaries of that money. Nina Roz received the money and signed for it. Even Ziza Bafana also received and signed for money. I have them in my records,” he said in an interview with Sanyuka Television.
