Pride at stake as rivals renew acquaintances

UPL

Match day 21 comes to conclusions with two blockbusters as KCCA and SC Villa make trips to Kitende and Njeru respectively.

First, BUL hosts SC Villa aiming to return to winning ways after faltering in the last three fixtures which saw them lose top spot to Kitara.

Abbey Kikomeko’s men seated second on the table with 40 points will however go joint top of they pick all points against Villa which is yet to lose a game away from home this season.

The Jogoos are 5th on the table with 33 points but have two games in hand over BUL and one more over table leaders and a win will bring them closer to leading pack.

At Kitende, two rivals Vipers and KCCA take on each other in a highly anticipated clash.

Vipers want to win to close gaps on the leading pack as they are on 35 points and 4th but have played less matches than any other side above them.

For KCCA, it’s a game they want to win to improve their standings but are not in the title race at the moment after a poor start to the campaign.

They are nine points behind Vipers and 17 adrift of Kitara who lead the table.

All eyes will be on former KCCA players Allan Okello and Moses Waiswa who could further damage their former bosses.
