Uganda Police Force has beat up National Unity Platform (NUP) leaders in Nsambya as they were going for prayers.
These opposition leaders were gathring at Sharing Hall in Nsambya where they had organized end of year prayer.
The president of NUP Bobi Wine had posted about this gathering on his social media platforms calling out all other Ugandans to join in.
This is not the first time police had tried to sabotage the opposition meetings or gatherings and there are people getting injuries and some dieing.
The prayers were for people that lost their lives in the struggle in 2021 during the general elections.
