NRG Radio Uganda presenter Evelyn Mic has taken another swipe at media personality Sheilah Gashumba amid their ongoing public feud, claiming that Sheilah does not live in the affluent Kololo area as she portrays.
The latest exchange follows Sheilah’s remarks that she could not take her car to an area such as Makindye, comments that Evelyn has now used to question Sheilah’s own choice of residence.
Evelyn claimed that Sheilah currently stays in an Airbnb along Mawanda Road in Kyebando, rather than Kololo, while also alleging that she was previously seen leaving musician Fik Fameica’s home in Salaama after spending the night there. Sheilah has previously denied being in a relationship with Fameica.
“Personally I stay in Buziga, Sheilah stays in Kyebando – Mawanda Road. Even the fling she denied about Fik Fameica, there are people who saw her coming out of Fameica’s home after a night there and that was Salaama Road where Fik stays. Where she stays now in Mawanda Road, it belongs to Kyebando and not Kololo. She’s neighbours with Mulago, Northern Bypass but that’s also okay,” Evelyn said.
Evelyn also dismissed Sheilah’s comments about Makindye, saying the area is home to many of the people who attend her events. She added that she personally could not currently afford to purchase a 50-by-100 plot of land in Makindye because of the area’s rising property prices.
“Makindye has all her clients that come to her nights so I don’t understand what she means. I saw her interview and I was even laughing,” Evelyn added.
The latest remarks further escalate the war of words between the two media personalities, which began after Evelyn alleged that Sheilah had separated from her boyfriend Alex Bidandi. Sheilah rejected the claims and threatened to have Evelyn fired from NRG Radio, prompting Evelyn to challenge her to do so while insisting that she has evidence to support her allegations.
