Lil Pazo has shared his opinion on Joshua Baraka’s recent appearance at Afro Nation, saying the young artist still has a long way to go before competing on the international stage.

Speaking about Baraka’s performance at the festival, Lil Pazo claimed that the Ugandan singer was scheduled to perform during the daytime when many festivalgoers had not yet arrived.
“They made him sing during the day when most people haven’t even arrived,” he said.
Lil Pazo argued that the performance showed that Joshua Baraka is not yet ready to compete with established international acts.
He advised the singer to return his focus to the local Ugandan audience and continue building his career from home.
“He should come back home and make local music for people who enjoy it. He should come back on ground and do music with the likes of us,” Lil Pazo said.
The singer also questioned the value of pursuing international festival appearances at this stage of Baraka’s career.
“What are you looking for from international events?” he questioned.
According to Lil Pazo, the situation was disappointing for many Ugandans and reflected poorly on Ugandan artists both at home and abroad.
“The whole situation ashamed Ugandans and Ugandan artists both home and away,” he added.
